Task-Driven Builders with Local Roots
We turn bottlenecks into running systems. Four partners. One cohesive delivery unit.
Mission and Vision
Mission: Deliver measurable business value through pragmatic automation, data, and AI. Ship the smallest slice that works, then scale it safely.
Vision: A trusted Atlantic Canadian studio known for clear outcomes, durable capability transfer, and respectful collaboration.
The Partnership
Four senior professionals with complementary skills. We plan together, build together, and stand behind the result together.
Robert MacDonald
Partner – Data & AI Architecture
Automation pipelines, secure data platforms, and enterprise AI integrations. Reproducible build and run books.
Karl Stewart
Partner – Automation Engineering
Process automation and orchestration. Human-in-the-loop flows that remove rework and deliver quick wins.
Dennis Lirette
Partner – Cloud & Infrastructure
Secure, scalable deployments. Reliability, observability, and cost control.
David Comeau
Partner – Automation Development
Translates complex business rules into reliable code. Usability, testing, and auditability.

Discovery
Duration: 1-2 weeks
We assess your processes, define success metrics, and scope the minimum viable solution that delivers measurable value.
Deliverables:
- Automation candidates ranked by impact
- Baseline metrics agreed with stakeholders
- Technical feasibility assessment
- Risk analysis and mitigation plan
- MVP scope and timeline estimate
Design & Build
Duration: 2-6 weeks
We draft the architecture, configure automation workflows, and instrument comprehensive telemetry for observability.
Deliverables:
- System architecture diagrams
- Working prototype with real data
- Audit trails and logging framework
- Human-in-the-loop interfaces
- Infrastructure as code (IaC)
Pilot & Validate
Duration: 2-4 weeks
Run the solution side-by-side with existing processes. Measure actual ROI, train users, and refine based on real feedback.
Deliverables:
- ROI dashboard with live metrics
- User training sessions completed
- Performance benchmarks vs. baseline
- Exception handling playbooks
- Go/no-go decision readout
Scale & Govern
Duration: Ongoing
Expand to new use cases, additional teams, and higher volumes. Establish oversight, safety limits, and change processes.
Deliverables:
- Governance framework and policies
- Security audits and compliance docs
- Scaled infrastructure (auto-scaling)
- Runbooks for common scenarios
- Change management procedures
Operate & Optimize
Duration: Optional ongoing support
Continuous improvement, enablement, and optional managed support. Your team owns the system—we're here when you need us.
Deliverables:
- Performance monitoring dashboards
- Monthly optimization recommendations
- Team enablement sessions
- Incident response playbooks
- Clear exit/handoff documentation
Our Core Principles
MVP First
Ship the smallest solution that delivers value. Validate with real data before scaling.
Capability Transfer
Build your team's skills throughout. You should be self-sufficient when we're done.
Measure Everything
Baseline metrics, pilot data, ROI dashboards. Decisions backed by evidence, not opinions.
No Lock-In
Full source code, documentation, and exit plans. Your infrastructure, your control.
Why we do this
We are a small team in Miramichi, and we like this work. That sounds like a small thing to put on a business page. It is not.
We enjoy the unglamorous part
Automation projects fail when the people building them stop caring halfway through — when the interesting part is done and the fiddly part, the part that decides whether your staff actually use the thing, gets rushed. That fiddly part is our favourite bit. Watching a job that took somebody three hours every week stop taking any time at all, and watching them spend those hours on the work they are actually good at, is why we still do this.
You know your profession. We know ours.
The best results we have had came from putting the two together — not from us arriving with a solution and explaining your own business back to you. You know where the friction is and why the obvious fix will not work. We bring three decades of building things that hold up when nobody is watching them. Neither half gets there alone.
If it does not work for you, it has not worked
We are not selling a licence and leaving. We would rather tell you a project is not worth doing than take the work and watch it sit unused — and we have said exactly that to people who were ready to pay us. When your business does better, we get to keep doing this. That is the whole arrangement, and it is why we would rather be right than booked.
We live here
The businesses we help are our neighbours. We see the results in the shops, the yards and the offices around us, and we would like to see them win — not as a marketing line, but because this is where we live and it is better when the businesses here are thriving.
Everything else on this site is a number you can check. This part is not, and we are not going to pretend otherwise — so ask us. A conversation costs nothing and you will know within twenty minutes whether we are the right people for what you need. If we are not, we will tell you who is.
The work behind this
Three decades of building, and a body of work you can count rather than take on trust. Every figure below is code this team has written.
- 55Databases and recordsOne place the records actually live, so two departments stop keeping different versions of the same list.
- 53Spreadsheets and calculationsThe workbook everything depends on, turned into something that runs on its own and cannot be broken by a stray paste.
- 50Web portals and internal sitesAn internal site your staff or your customers use, rather than another shared drive.
- 42Moving and transferring filesFiles that arrive somewhere and have to end up somewhere else, renamed, checked and logged, without anybody dragging them.
These are counts of our own codebases, regenerated when the estate changes. They go up when we build something; they are never edited by hand.
